Generative AI for image creation.

It’s super fun to whip up some wild visuals with just a few prompts, it’s like magic! You play around, watch your ideas come to life, and for a couple of seconds, it’s like, “Wow, that is amazing!” But then, after the initial thrill, you might find yourself wondering, “Okay, now what?”, and then carry on with your life.

That was my experience when I first tried out Adobe Firefly after it came out of beta. My kids and I huddled around the computer, tossing around ideas like a dog in an astronaut suit floating in space. We oohed and ahhed at the awesome results, but after that initial excitement, we never went back to the site again.

Fast forward to now, when I realized the potential of their reference image feature and how I can use “Text to Image” as an educational tool to boost imagination and improve storytelling skills… by feeding the AI my children’s artwork!

So welcome! Give it a try by following my getting started guide, and don’t miss the gallery of my kids’ AI-reimagined artwork! I’ll also share the occasional blog post whenever we stumble upon something particularly cool.

Enjoy!

I often find that I need to make additional edits in […]

Guide to creating seamless wallpaper patterns I discovered Firefly’s ability to create seamless patterns by accident, but a quick search led me to an article about creating patterns using “Text to Vector Graphic” in Illustrator. It turns out that Firefly web also recognizes the keywords “Pattern” and “Icon” (and “Subject” and “Scene”). A quick test […]
